Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented according to merchandising standards
• Conduct product demos to promote new or featured items and upsell where appropriate to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain store cleanliness by performing custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and ensuring the store environment is safe and inviting
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling procedures and basic retail math calculations
• Communicate effectively with team members using phone etiquette and clear instructions to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training or guiding team members in customer service or stock management
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve diverse customer needs
• Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments will help you excel in this role
• Strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this position
