Cashier/Waiter/Host

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing reservations, and handling cash transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for the restaurant industry and a knack for upselling.

Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Seat guests and manage reservations efficiently
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor the waiting list
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
- Take food and beverage orders from guests
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour
