Job Description – Casualty Nurse (Emergency Department)

Qualification: BSc Nursing / GNM / ANM

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Casualty / Emergency Unit

Key Responsibilities:

Provide immediate nursing care to emergency and trauma patients

Perform triage and prioritize patients based on clinical condition

Monitor vital signs and assess patient status continuously

Assist doctors during emergency procedures and resuscitation

Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and oxygen therapy as prescribed

Handle trauma cases, accidents, cardiac emergencies, and critical patients

Prepare and maintain emergency equipment and crash carts

Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation

Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

Provide emotional support to patients and relatives during emergencies

Skills & Requirements:

Strong knowledge of emergency nursing procedures

Ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations

Good communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work in shifts, including night duties

ACLS/BLS certification preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
