Desert Tails Pet Services is a boutique cat sitting and dog walking company trusted by families throughout Cave Creek, Carefree, and Far North Scottsdale. Our clients count on us to show up, communicate well, and provide consistent, reliable care for their beloved pets every single time.

We are looking for a reliable, professional and experienced Cat Sitter who is dependable, confident, and ready to become part of our company.

What You Will Do

• Provide daily check-ins and pet sitting visits in clients' homes
• Care for cats, and other household pets while following detailed care instructions
• Send visit summaries with photos and notes after every visit using our mobile app
• Communicate quickly and clearly with both clients and team members
• Use scheduling apps, visit tracking tools, and your smartphone for communication and visit reporting
• Represent Desert Tails Pet Services professionally in every client's home
• Complete shadow training before working independently

Availability Requirements

This position is ideal for someone who has a flexible schedule and can adjust their availability based on client needs. While visit schedules vary, applicants should generally be available during the following service windows:

Morning Visits: 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Afternoon/Evening Visits: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

You do not need to be available every hour of every day, but you should have the flexibility to accept visits during these time blocks on a consistent basis.

Because pet care is not a Monday–Friday business, applicants must also be willing to work a combination of weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. Our clients trust us to care for their cats while they're away, and our pets rely on us to show up every day—including weekends and holidays.

Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to following through on scheduled visits are essential for success in this role. The more you work, the more money you make.

Requirements

• Live within 10 miles of Cave Creek, Arizona
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Have a smartphone with reliable data service
• Be confident handling cats of all types dogs
• Be comfortable using scheduling apps, texting clients, uploading visit photos, and learning new technology
• Be dependable, responsive, and able to work independently
• Pass a background check
