Insight Development & Deployment
Own assortment and space planning recommendations in partnership with Sales.
Own wholesaler category planning sessions.
Collaborate with multiple business areas to develop Category Leadership Stories.
Customer Selling & Execution
Develop joint business partnerships, in partnership with Field Sales personnel, to deliver category reviews and achieve sales objectives.
Support wholesale, national and independent accounts as needed on ad-hoc insights needs & building relevant dashboards and scorecards.
Develop compelling sales stories by leveraging data and insights.
Business Planning
Support annual business planning.
Support development of distribution targets and performance measures across customers.
Contribute to joint business planning with wholesale and retail accounts.
Communication & Insights
Analyze on-going category and customer trends.
Leverage shopper data to connect our consumers at retail.
Develop and maintain regular performance reporting with MSAI, IRI and Scan data.
Partner with other business areas to stay ahead of industry, category & brand issues, and trends and identifies target opportunities.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field of study and 5+ years related work experience or High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years related work experience.
Experience:
Category insights in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
Syndicated Scan and Panel Data Analysis (IRI, Nielsen, Numerator)
Space management software (JDA)
Managing large data sets
Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from state in which employed.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Knowledge of:
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint), and Microsoft Teams.
Retail merchandising and in-store execution strategies and tactics.
Skilled in:

Working with primary research
Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).

Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
