Category Executive

The Category Executive is responsible for supporting the Category Manager in the management and growth of product categories within a retail or e-commerce environment. This includes analyzing product performance, conducting market research, managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that the product mix aligns with consumer demand and business objectives. The Category Executive plays a critical role in optimizing the product assortment and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for category management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data and market trends to support category growth.
• Assist in product selection, pricing, and promotions.
• Manage inventory and work with supply chain teams to maintain stock levels.
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms.
• Collaborate with marketing for product promotions and campaigns.
• Monitor product lifecycle and suggest improvements based on performance.
