Category Manager – E-Commerce
to drive the growth and performance of key product categories across online channels. The role will be responsible for managing category strategy, driving sales and profitability, and optimizing the digital shelf across major marketplaces and online retail platforms in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
FMCG category management, online marketplaces, and data-driven decision making
, with the ability to collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and key online retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Growth

Develop and execute the
e-commerce category strategy
to drive revenue, profitability, and market share.

Identify
growth opportunities, product assortment gaps, and pricing strategies
across online channels.

Manage category P&L, ensuring sales targets and margin objectives are achieved.
Marketplace & Online Retail Management
-
Manage relationships with
key e-commerce platforms and online retailers
(such as Noon, Amazon, Carrefour Online, etc.).

Ensure optimal
product listings, content quality, visibility, and digital shelf performance
.

Monitor marketplace trends, competitor pricing, and promotional strategies.
Performance & Analytics

Analyze
sales data, traffic, conversion rates, and customer insights
to optimize category performance.

Track key KPIs including
GMV, sell-through rates, inventory levels, and promotional ROI
.

Generate insights to improve category growth and consumer engagement.
Promotion & Campaign Planning

Plan and execute
online promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches
in collaboration with marketing teams.

Work closely with trade marketing and digital teams to drive
traffic and conversion
.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with
supply chain and demand planning teams
to ensure product availability and minimize stock-outs.

Coordinate with marketing teams to optimize
product storytelling, content, and brand presence online
.

Collaborate with finance teams to monitor category profitability.
Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Marketing, or a related field
(MBA preferred).

6–10 years of experience
in FMCG, consumer goods, or D2C companies.

Proven experience managing
e-commerce categories or online retail accounts

Strong understanding of
regional online retail ecosystems
.
