Catering Delivery Driver (Independant Contractor)

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Catering Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the friendly face of our company, responsible for delivering delicious catering orders promptly and professionally to our valued clients. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your driving skills and attention to detail, will ensure every delivery is a positive experience. Catering delivery drivers transport food, beverages, equipment, and supplies from kitchens, restaurants, or catering companies to events, offices, parties, weddings, corporate functions, or other venues. The role combines driving, logistics, customer service, and basic food handling to ensure orders arrive on time, safely, and in good condition. Drivers will get $25 to $150 per catering order. 100% of tips go to drivers. $25 guaranteed minimum pay on all catering orders! Deliver catering orders. Set your own schedule.

Duties

• Loading and unloading orders: Pick up prepared catering items from the kitchen or restaurant. Securely load them into the vehicle, often using insulated bags, coolers, or racks to maintain proper food temperatures (hot foods hot, cold foods cold). Unload at the delivery site carefully to avoid spills or damage.
• Verifying order accuracy: Check that all items match the order ticket, including quantities, special requests, and any accompanying supplies (e.g., plates, utensils, chafing dishes, or linens). Report discrepancies immediately.
• Delivery and customer interaction: Deliver to the correct address or venue. Present orders professionally, often communicating with event coordinators or clients. In many cases, perform light setup such as arranging food on tables, setting up chafing dishes, or staging buffets. Some roles require taking photos of the setup for records.
• Experience
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting
