Catering Event Driver and Server

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers Lisence
• Hard worker with a positive attitude

• Willingness to learn and grow and take initiative.

• Run food from the kitchen to the guest tables

• Set up and breakdown of ceremony and dining room as needed

• Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance

• Serve plated dinners or family-style platters to guests and respond to requests

• Communicate with Event Captain as well as other servers and event organizers

• Clean up the venue after the event ends and assist with inventory, design storage, and other closeout tasks

• Look for opportunities to elevate service: fold napkins, fill water glasses, etc

• New staff assigned at an event may require on-the-job training.
• Drive the company van to and from events.
• Load dining equipment in and out of the van.

- Ability to stay cool under pressure; can cope with change

- Multi-task and works well with others.

Uniform, Environment, and Equipment

• Able to provide own black dress pants, black shoes, and black shirt

• Prepared to work in both indoor and outdoor event

• Prepared to work with commercial cleaning products and equipment: dish detergent, commercial dishwasher, floor cleansers, broom, mop, and bucket

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
