Salary Range: $25-$35 per hour based on experience

Description: Servers and Bartenders for fine dining catering company based out of Richmond, Ca. Catered events are throughout the Bay Area, Napa/Sonoma and Beyond

General Purpose of Job: All servers and bartenders are responsible for assisting in the execution of an event. They shall perform the duties assigned to them by the Event Manager and actively contribute as an integral part of the team.

Duties will include: event set-up, food/beverage service, event breakdown, and the care and packing of equipment, décor and food.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uphold the high standards of Anaviv Catering & Events handbook and policies
• Maintain safety and organization at events
• Familiar with the menu and prepared to explain it to guests
• Stay on task and work effectively
• Be proactive in anticipating the needs of the client and their guests
• Help with set-up and breakdown of tables, chairs, linens, flatware, and glassware
• Help with loading/unloading vehicles
• Maintain and replenish event tables accordingly
• Balance and carry trays of food and beverages
• Serve, pour, and bus beverages
• ID guests consuming alcohol
• Help with cleanup
• Remain positive, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills
• Only have work appropriate conversations
• Possess listening skills with the ability to follow instructions closely
• Possess a service attitude that is logical, detailed, and organized
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure and objectivity in stressful situations
• Remain teachable and flexible
• Team-oriented
• High level of personal hygiene
• Good organizational skills
• Can work well under pressure
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work in a collaborative environment with co‐workers from diverse technical backgrounds
• Must possess a current California Food Handler’s card
• Two or more years of related experience and/or training
• Reliable transportation required
• ServSafe and ABC Alcohol certification within 30 days of hire

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
