Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining food safety standards. Duties

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
• Participate in food preparation for various services, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
• Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively.
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control practices.
• Creative menu planning skills with an understanding of current culinary trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
