Position Description: Caterer or Catering Staff
Position Summary: Responsible for executing House Taco's catering services: preparing food onsite/offsite, setting up serving stations, ensuring timely deliveries and providing excellent hospitality at events.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers and event planners to understand catering needs, menu details, and service expectations.
- Prepare, pack, and transport food safely; maintain food quality and presentation standards.
- Set up buffet/service stations and equipment at event locations.
- Serve food and beverages during events; manage replenishment and presentation throughout service.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards (including proper storage and temperature control).
- Break down stations and clean up at the end of the event.
- Provide friendly, professional interaction with guests.
- Troubleshoot on-site issues and adapt to schedule changes.
Manage all internal and external catering-related emails.
Experience / Skills
- Prior catering, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift supplies and equipment.
- Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Work Conditions
- Flexible schedule: weekends and event hours required.
- Work may take place in multiple venues, both indoors and outdoors.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,600.00 per week
