Position Description: Caterer or Catering Staff

Position Summary: Responsible for executing House Taco's catering services: preparing food onsite/offsite, setting up serving stations, ensuring timely deliveries and providing excellent hospitality at events.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers and event planners to understand catering needs, menu details, and service expectations.
• Prepare, pack, and transport food safely; maintain food quality and presentation standards.
• Set up buffet/service stations and equipment at event locations.
• Serve food and beverages during events; manage replenishment and presentation throughout service.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards (including proper storage and temperature control).
• Break down stations and clean up at the end of the event.
• Provide friendly, professional interaction with guests.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and adapt to schedule changes.

Manage all internal and external catering-related emails.

Experience / Skills

• Prior catering, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift supplies and equipment.
• Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Work Conditions

• Flexible schedule: weekends and event hours required.
• Work may take place in multiple venues, both indoors and outdoors.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,600.00 per week
