- Supervise and manage a team of cleaners and utility staff in catering operations.
- Plan daily cleaning schedules for kitchen, dining, and storage areas, ensuring timely completion.
- Monitor hygiene standards in food preparation, storage, and serving areas in line with HACCP, ISO, and company policies.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning tasks to ensure quality and compliance.
- Train and guide cleaning staff on safe work practices, hygiene protocols, and use of cleaning materials.
- Prepare duty rosters, manage staff attendance, and coordinate replacements when required.
- Ensure timely disposal of waste and adherence to segregation and recycling procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, pest control requirements, or hazards to the concerned departments.
- Maintain cleaning records, checklists, and compliance documentation.
- Support kitchen and service staff during special events, functions, or peak operational times.
- Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum High School Certificate or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in cleaning supervisory role (preferably in catering, /hospitality).
- Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP principles.
- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and supervise multicultural staff.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and scheduling.
