Our brand specializes in award-winning cheesecakes and desserts served through our retail storefront, catering services, wholesale partnerships, weddings, food truck events, and nationwide shipping.
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and relationship-driven professional to help grow the business through catering sales, wedding bookings, wholesale partnerships, food truck events, and nationwide shipping opportunities.
Position Overview
The Catering, Wholesale & Partnerships Sales Manager is responsible for generating new revenue through catering, weddings, wholesale accounts, food truck event bookings, and nationwide shipping opportunities.
This role serves as the primary contact for event and catering clients while actively building relationships with businesses, wedding venues, planners, and community organizations. A major focus of this position is managing wholesale and wedding-related business including consultations, tastings, deposits and event coordination.
The position is based primarily at our Anderson storefront, where consultations and tastings take place, but also includes regular outreach, deliveries, and event coordination throughout the Cincinnati area.
As a growing small business, this is a new role that will evolve as the company grows, and responsibilities may expand as new opportunities develop.
Core Responsibilities
Wholesale Partnerships
Develop and maintain wholesale relationships with local businesses.
Responsibilities include:
Identifying and contacting potential wholesale partners such as cafés and coffee shops
Introducing products and delivering samples
Managing relationships with existing wholesale clients
Monitoring reorder patterns and encouraging account growth
Lead Generation & Business Development
Actively generate new business through outreach and relationship building.
Responsibilities include:
Visiting local businesses to promote catering services
Delivering sample boxes to potential corporate clients
Building relationships with wedding venues, planners, and event professionals
Attending Chamber of Commerce meetings and networking events
Identifying new opportunities to expand catering and event sales
Catering & Event Sales
Manage catering inquiries and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
Responsibilities include:
Responding to catering inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Conducting client consultations and tastings
Preparing quotes, invoices, and event proposals
Collecting deposits to secure event dates
Maintaining an organized event calendar and booking schedule
Coordinating order details with kitchen and operations teams
Scheduling and managing catering deliveries and setups
Delivering catering orders when necessary
Following up with clients to confirm final order details and encourage repeat business
Wedding Sales & Client Experience
Weddings are a major revenue driver for The Cheesecakery. This role is responsible for developing and managing wedding business from inquiry through event execution.
Responsibilities include:
Responding to wedding inquiries from couples, families, planners, and venues
Conducting in-person wedding consultations and tastings
Assisting couples in selecting dessert and catering packages
Preparing quotes, proposals, and invoices
Collecting deposits and securing wedding bookings
Maintaining detailed records of wedding clients and event timelines
Following up with couples to finalize guest counts and order details
Coordinating logistics with wedding planners, venues, and event coordinators
Wedding Platform & Event Marketing
Support lead generation through wedding platforms and promotional events.
Responsibilities include:
Creating and managing company profiles on wedding platforms such as WeddingPro, The Knot, and WeddingWire
Monitoring inquiries and responding promptly to leads
Attending and setting up booths at wedding shows and bridal events
Organizing and hosting The Cheesecakery bi-annual wedding open houses
Promoting wedding offerings through marketing materials and social media
Food Truck Event Sales
Manage private food truck event bookings.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring daily Cincinnati Food Truck Association lead emails
Responding to food truck event inquiries
Booking private food truck events such as corporate events, weddings, and private parties
Coordinating event logistics with hosts and internal teams
Public festivals and food truck rallies are operational bookings and do not qualify for commission.
Events & Customer Engagement
Help create experiences that introduce customers to The Cheesecakery and generate new leads.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and coordinating in-store events such as:
wedding tastings
wedding open houses
dessert tasting flights
decorating classes
Promoting events through social media and marketing materials
Capturing photos and videos for marketing use
Encouraging satisfied customers to leave reviews and referrals
Online Orders & Nationwide Shipping
Manage online ordering systems and nationwide shipping operations.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring incoming online orders through HoneyCart and other ordering platforms
Serving as the primary contact for online order questions and customer communication
Coordinating with the kitchen team to prepare nationwide shipping orders
Packaging shipping orders and delivering shipments to UPS or other carriers
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date online ordering pages and product listings
Nationwide Shipping Partnerships
Develop opportunities to expand nationwide shipping through third-party platforms.
Responsibilities include:
Researching and coordinating partnerships with platforms such as Goldbelly, Shopify marketplaces, CincyFavorites, and similar services
Managing product listings and communication with these platforms
Identifying opportunities to grow nationwide shipping sales
Operations Support
Assist with operational tasks when necessary to ensure orders are completed successfully.
Responsibilities include:
Organizing catering and wholesale orders for delivery
Labeling and packaging products
Assisting with final order preparation when needed
Regular Operational Responsibilities
This role includes several regularly scheduled tasks:
Wholesale deliveries:
Monday — approximately 2 hours
Tuesday — approximately 2 hours
Thursday — approximately 6–7 hours
Additional responsibilities may include assisting with bulk production and coordinating catering logistics.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: $17.00 per hour
Estimated schedule: 35–40 hours per week
Commissions & Bonuses
Catering Commission (includes weddings, corporate, etc)
3% commission on catering orders of $350 or more that the employee manages and coordinates.
Delivery Bonus
$50 bonus for each catering delivery personally completed plus any gratuity left by the customer.
Food Truck Event Commission
3% commission on private food truck events with sales of $2,000 or more that the employee books. If the employee works the event from start to finish, they will be paid their hourly wage plus any gratuity left by the customer.
Wholesale Bonuses
$50 bonus when a new wholesale account places its first order of $350 or more
$200 bonus when that account reaches $20,000 in total sales (once per year for new accounts you acquired only)
*ADDITIONAL* Monthly Revenue Milestone Bonus
For any catering or food truck orders the employee intakes (does not include wholesale, customer imputed online orders or nationwide shipping)
$10,000 — $100 bonus
$15,000 — $200 bonus
$20,000 — $300 bonus
