Deliver expert care to critically ill patients undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab setting. This contract opportunity in Lorain, OH, is ideal for RNs with specialized Cath Lab experience ready to manage complex clinical scenarios and provide advanced hemodynamic monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients using advanced hemodynamic tools such as IABP and IMPELLA devices.
• Manage sedation and ventilator support to ensure patient stability during invasive interventions.
• Respond to STEMI calls promptly within a 30-minute window as part of unit rotation.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid RN licensure in Ohio.
• Proven Cath Lab experience with solid preoperative and postoperative nursing skills.
• Competency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  
  

Physical Demands And Environment

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and pushing with assistance.
• Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and use of cleaning chemicals as part of daily work.
• Normal vision and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) required to perform essential job functions.
  
  

Work Schedule

• Shifts typically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Holiday and on-call shifts assigned by unit rotation, including a minimum call-back duration for STEMI emergencies.
