Cath Lab Tech – 13-Week Contract | Mon–Fri (4x10s)

We've partnered with an established health system that is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS) to support diagnostic and invasive cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, and peripheral procedures for a full time guaranteed assignment. This contract role requires flexibility across procedural areas and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms with all required supplies and equipment
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and sterile draping while maintaining aseptic technique
• Perform hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring during routine and complex procedures
• Identify and respond appropriately to physiologic and behavioral changes related to medications
• Scrub, monitor, and circulate for diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, peripheral, and structural heart procedures
• Anticipate physician needs and provide procedural support throughout cases
• Perform arterial and venous sheath removal, including manual compression and closure devices
• Promote efficiency and cost-effective care through proper inventory management
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Cath Lab and procedural equipment

Qualifications

• Specialized diploma or associate’s degree from an accredited cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology program with cardiovascular experience
• Experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to make decisions in high-acuity situations
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical and operational needs

Required Certifications:

• RCIS, RCES, RT (Radiology), or CCT
• ACLS within 90 days
• BLS (American Heart Association) within 90 days

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4×10-hour shifts

Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential extension up to 26 weeks

On-Call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
