Cath Lab Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Preparation:Obtain patient medical history, inform them about procedures, and prepare them for the cath lab environment.
• Equipment Management:Sterilize, set up, and maintain cath lab equipment, including cardiac monitors, imaging machines, and catheters.
• Procedure Assistance:Assist the cardiologist by handing instruments, administering medications, and handling specialized fluids.
• Patient Monitoring:Monitor patient vital signs, comfort levels, and observe for adverse reactions or complications throughout the procedure.
• Equipment Operation:Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment used for imaging and monitoring, ensuring proper functioning.
• Documentation:Document patient procedures, including measurements, findings, and medications, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth, effective patient care.
