Cath Lab Technician

Location: Port St. Lucie, Florida
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join a dynamic cardiovascular team in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong Cardiac Cath Lab experience along with experience in at least one additional specialty area including Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures.

This role requires a highly skilled technologist who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and is comfortable floating between multiple facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Perform scrub technologist duties within the Cath Lab environment
• Support Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures as applicable
• Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, instruments, and equipment
• Monitor patient safety and procedural workflow during interventions
• Operate imaging and cardiovascular diagnostic equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float between affiliated facilities as required

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Experience in at least two of the following modalities required:
  • Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Vascular
  • Neuro
• Experience must be clearly reflected within work history
• First-time travelers accepted
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• Current AHA ACLS Certification required
• RCVT or RCIS certification preferred
• Strong scrub technologist experience required
• Ability to work effectively in high-acuity procedural settings
