Overview
We are seeking a Catholic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health counseling to individuals and couples with a faith-based approach. This role offers an opportunity to integrate spiritual principles with evidence-based therapeutic practices. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in clinical counseling, a passion for serving diverse populations, and a commitment to holistic care rooted in Christian values. You will play a vital role in supporting clients through life's challenges, including grief, trauma, relationship issues, and mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments utilizing ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems to establish client diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual, couples, and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and art or dance therapy when appropriate.
  • Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure client safety during acute episodes of distress or suicidal ideation.
  • Incorporate Christian counseling principles into therapeutic interventions to support clients’ spiritual well-being alongside mental health needs.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to care while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management efforts, including medical records review, behavioral health coordination, and patient assessment updates.
  • Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance treatment outcomes and improve service delivery.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in psychotherapy across diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism.
  • Proficiency in modalities inluding CBT, DBT, Gottman/Minuchin, EMDR , MI etc.
  • Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and PTSD care strategies.
  • Experience with addiction counseling, grief counseling, chronic pain counseling, gender issues counseling, and working within inpatient or outpatient environments.

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
