Cause of Stewart Trail fire revealed

TWO HARBORS, Minn. (KQDS-TV) - The cause of the Stewart Trail Fire has been revealed.

According to officials, the fire started due to a power line. It is not clear whether this refers to a downed line.

The fire, which broke out on Friday, May 15, has burned 34 structures and is now at 62% containment.

Officials say that due to this level of contention, evacuation zones are reduced in places where threats safety are low.
