Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CBRF Med Tech to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality medical assistance and support to residents in assisted living. Your expertise will help ensure residents receive personalized care that promotes their health, safety, and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with individuals with diverse needs, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, and age related illnesses. As a Med Tech / caregiver, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate patient care while adhering to all regulatory standards and maintaining meticulous medical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily resident care activities, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and personal hygiene support
  • Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory impairments in memory or hospice care settings
  • Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and sensitive medical information
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor physiological parameters and report any deviations from normal findings
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living in home care or community settings, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Support medical procedures involving anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and medication administration in accordance with state regulations
  • Work effectively within acute care environments or long-term care facilities that serve individuals with disabilities or complex health needs

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home & community care environments is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of medical documentation standards and familiarity with EMR
  • Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient care
  • Experience providing Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice, or senior care is desirable
  • Ability to perform catheter care, vital signs measurement and medication administration safely and accurately
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy at all times
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and residents’ families
  • Valid certification as a Med Tech
  • Compassionate attitude combined with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
