CBS Manager

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a CBS Manager, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency.

The CBS Manger will have a direct impact on our operations group, responsible for:

  • Leading the deployment of Crane Business System (CBS), Ensuring Alignment with company-wide strategic goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Driving lean manufacturing principles, including kaizen, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.

  • Partnering with leadership teams to identify cost reduction, productivity and quality improvement opportunities.

  • Conducting CBS assessments, a gap analyses to develop and execute facility-wide improvement plans

  • Leading and mentoring teams in problem solving techniques, waste reduction, 5S implementation, and process standardization.

  • Providing hands-on coaching and training for employees at all levels on CBS methodologies and Tools.

  • Developing Key Performance indicators (KPI’s) to measure CBS program effectiveness and drive data-based decision-making.

  • Collaborating with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to enhance operational excellence.

  • Driving a culture of accountability, employee engagement and leadership development.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You will bring a strong leadership mindset and expertise in lean methodologies with well demonstrated success in manufacturing processes, operational efficiency, and change management.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • A deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Strong leadership and change management skills to influence and drive cultural transformation.

  • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective process improvements.

  • The track record of successful project management and implementation of cost saving initiatives. Excellent communication and facilitation skills to train and mentor employees at all levels. And proactive approach to problem solving, innovation, and driving operational excellence.

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement leadership roles.

  • Certification in lean, six sigma (Green belt or Black belt preferred) or other process improvement methodologies.

  • Experience implementing Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and standardized work processes, and 5S programs

  • Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping and performance measurement tools.

  • Strong knowledge of safety, quality and compliance standards in manufacturing environment,

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and influence at all organizational levels.

  • Excellent Presentation, training, and facilitation skills.
