Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced High School English Teacher to teach Grades 8–10/12 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with CBSE learning outcomes, exam patterns, and competency-based teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Delivery

Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons as per the CBSE curriculum and learning objectives.

Teach literature and language components prescribed by CBSE (prose, poetry, grammar, writing skills).

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers aligned to CBSE competency-based assessments.

Conduct periodic assessments as per CBSE guidelines and provide timely feedback to students.

Classroom Management

Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.

Track and support the academic progress of students across all levels.

Student Development

Promote reading, creative writing, public speaking, debates, and literary activities aligned to CBSE recommendations.

Mentor students for competitions, Olympiads, and English-related events.

Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain accurate academic records, student portfolios, and assessment documentation as per CBSE requirements.

Participate in CBSE training programs, workshops, PTMs, and school events.

Support school-level documentation required during CBSE inspections if needed.

Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate in English (B.A./M.A. English).

B.Ed. is mandatory (CBSE-compliant qualification).

Minimum 2–4 years of experience teaching High School English in a CBSE school.

Strong communication skills and ability to use digital teaching tools.

Familiarity with CBSE teaching methodologies and competency-based evaluation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
