Job Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Principal to lead our CBSE school. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of teaching and administrative experience, with a proven track record in academic leadership, school management, and staff development. The Principal will be responsible for driving academic excellence, fostering holistic student development, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the school in alignment with CBSE guidelines and the institution’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership & Curriculum Management
- Oversee the implementation of the CBSE curriculum and ensure compliance with all board requirements.
- Drive academic excellence by setting high standards for teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- Introduce innovative teaching practices, technology integration, and holistic learning methods.
- Monitor and evaluate lesson plans, classroom delivery, and assessment practices.
School Administration & Operations
- Ensure smooth functioning of the school including academics, administration, finance, transport, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and strategic plans.
- Supervise admission processes, student discipline, and parent engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with the management/board of trustees on policy and operational matters.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and appraise teachers and staff; promote professional growth through training and workshops.
- Foster a positive and collaborative school culture with strong team spirit.
- Implement performance reviews and accountability systems for teaching and non-teaching staff.
Student Development & Welfare
- Promote values of discipline, integrity, inclusivity, and overall well-being.
- Encourage participation in co-curricular, cultural, and sports activities.
- Establish counseling and support systems for student mental health and academic success.
Parent & Community Relations
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and school policies.
- Represent the school in community forums and build partnerships with stakeholders.
- Lead open house sessions, orientation programs, and parent-teacher meetings.
Compliance & Financial Management
- Ensure compliance with CBSE regulations, education laws, and statutory requirements.
- Work with management on budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning.
- Oversee safety, security, and infrastructural development of the campus.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Postgraduate degree with B.Ed./M.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 10–15 years of teaching and administrative experience in reputed CBSE schools.
- In-depth knowledge of CBSE norms, academic frameworks, and NEP guidelines.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
