CCTV Technician

Awtad is searching for a dedicated and skilled CCTV Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our CCTV systems and surveillance equipment across various sites. You will conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Responsibilities:

• Install and configure CCTV cameras, control systems, and other surveillance equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on the operation of CCTV systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and service requests.
• Collaborate with other departments and security personnel to recommend enhancements for security protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in surveillance systems.

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or certification in Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
• Strong knowledge of different types of CCTV systems and surveillance technologies.
• Experience with IP cameras, video management systems, and networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and installation manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
