Installation & Commissioning

  • Execute the complete installation of CCTV systems, including IP and Analog cameras, Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), Network Video Recorders (NVRs), and centralized monitoring systems.
  • Perform structured cabling (Cat 6, Fiber Optic) installation, pulling, dressing, termination, and testing for all ELV systems.
  • Mount and strategically position cameras, access control readers, intercoms, and other ELV devices on walls, poles, and ceilings according to technical drawings and site requirements.
  • Configure and program network settings (IP addresses, subnet masks, gateways) for all IP-based cameras and network devices.
  • Conduct thorough system testing and commissioning to ensure seamless integration and functionality before project handover.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on installed CCTV and ELV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software faults related to cameras, cables, power supplies, recording equipment, and network components.
  • Repair or replace faulty components quickly and efficiently to minimize system downtime.
  • Upgrade and expand existing CCTV and ELV systems as per client or project specifications.

Technical & Compliance

  • Interpret and work accurately from blueprints, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and written work instructions.
  • Ensure all installations strictly comply with all local authority regulations, particularly Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) standards in Dubai and/or Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) security standards.
  • Assist the ELV Engineer in conducting site surveys and final inspections with consultants or regulatory bodies.

Site Management & Safety

  • Maintain a high standard of work quality, neatness, and safety on the job site.
  • Manage and control the usage of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring all are kept in good working order.
  • Adhere to all company and site-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit daily work reports, progress updates, and material reconciliation sheets to the Site Supervisor/Engineer.
