Position Summary: The Learning Disabilities Specialist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering specialized interventions for children with learning disabilities, particularly dyslexia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in evidence-based strategies and a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify dyslexia and related learning difficulties in children.- Develop individualized learning plans tailored to each child’s needs.
- Deliver one-on-one or small group sessions using evidence-based dyslexia interventions.
- Monitor and document each child’s progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other specialists to ensure consistent support.
- Provide guidance and training to staff and parents on strategies to support children with dyslexia.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Stay updated with the latest research, tools, and methods in dyslexia intervention.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field.
- CDA license holder
- Certification or specialized training in dyslexia assessment and intervention.
- Experience working with children with dyslexia and learning difficulties.
- Strong knowledge of multi
- sensory and evidence
- based dyslexia teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
