Truck Driver CDL A

We are looking for an experienced truck drivers to serve our company in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Transporting Natural Stone Slabs over land to and from distribution centers, and customer.

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues

• Meet delivery schedules

• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving in E-logs, and retain fuel/toll receipts

• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (sizeweight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

• Collect and verify delivery instructions

• Report defects, accidents or violations Requirements

• Proven work experience as a truck driver

• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, Elogs, etc)

• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly(Most weeks home daily, some overnights)

• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

• No recent moving or driving violations

• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations

• Valid truck driving license

• Reliable personal transportation to and from work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Commercial Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL A or CDL B (Preferred)
