CDL A Driver – Long Haul Step Deck / Lowboy

Eagle Express LLC is a family‑owned carrier with over 15 years of safe, stable operations. We are seeking experienced CDL A drivers for long‑haul step deck and lowboy freight. Our operation is built on clear communication, predictable expectations, and consistent nationwide work.

Freight Type

• Standard flatbed and step deck freight
• Moderate OD/OW only (typically 1–3 ft over or up to +20,000 lbs)
• No super loads, no pilot cars, no extreme OD

Responsibilities

• Operate step deck and lowboy equipment on long‑haul routes
• Secure loads according to DOT and company standards
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A
• Minimum 1 year of experience with any ONE of the following:
• Flatbed
• Step deck
• RGN
• TWIC card helpful (not required)
• Clean safety record and reliable work habits

Schedule

• Long‑haul / cross‑country
• Typical trips run 7–12 days out
