CDL A Local Driver | Home Daily | 3+ Years Experience Required

North East Freight & Logistics is hiring a CDL Class A Local Driver for absolutely local work only. Home every day. No over-the-road. No long-haul.

We are looking for a serious, experienced, and professional driver who wants steady local work and takes safety, punctuality, and professionalism seriously.

This position is for drivers who want to stay local, work with a professional company, and be home every day. We are not looking for entry-level drivers. We are only looking for qualified applicants who meet our standards.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable CDL Class A experience
• Current DOT medical card required
• Clean driving record
• Clean background
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Must communicate clearly and professionally
• Must take care of equipment and represent the company well

Job Duties:

• Handle local pickups and deliveries safely and on time
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements
• Use ELD, no paper logs
• Maintain accurate trip and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
• Report equipment or load issues immediately
