The Role

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL A Local Shuttle & Yard Driver to support daily operations across the Middle Tennessee area. This role is responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard and between local facilities, transporting equipment for service and repair, and assisting with fleet maintenance operations based in Gallatin, TN.

This position includes regular trailer shuttling and occasional run coverage. The ideal candidate brings a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and communication, along with prior yard or Class A CDL experience. You’ll work closely with our Maintenance and Operations teams to keep logistics running smoothly while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform primarily local CDL A trailer shuttling
• Safely move and spot semi-trailers using a yard truck
• Back trailers into service bays and designated staging areas
• Transport equipment to and from service/repair locations
• Fuel equipment and assist with general fleet support tasks
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard
• Operate company vehicles as needed
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist with additional shop support duties as assigned
• Work in various weather conditions as required

What You’ll Need

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Ability to safely maneuver and back trailers
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment as needed
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Steady Pace consistent work

Bonus Points

• Previous experience with yard moves and local deliveries
• Experience operating different types of trailers/equipment
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
