CDL A Truck Driver

Job Title: Truck Driver (CDL Class A)

Reports to: Dispatch Manager

Overview:

Perform tasks as directed

Responsible for:

Ø Hauliing equipment to and from various job sites

Ø Pre-trip safety inspection daily and record and/or fix and all defects

Ø Keeping paperwork for the truck updated as far as mileage sheets, time sheets, and inspection book

Ø Keeping truck orderly and clean

Ø Driving courteously and safely at all times

Ø Following safe work procedures and safe work practices

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Ø High School diploma/GED

Ø Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent role

Ø OSHA 10

Qualitative and other attributes required:

Ø Ability to work individually or as part of a team effort

Ø Effective communication skills

Ø Effective time management and logical decision- making ability

Ø Capacity to handle pressure

Ø Willingness to travel across FAHS construction sites

Ø Physical and mental fitness

Ø Ability to establish good relationships

Physical Demands:

Ø Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs

Ø Ability to drive to job sites

Work Environment:

Ø May occasionally work in temperatures above 100 or below 32 degrees

Ø May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces

Ø Noise level in the construction work environment is frequently loud

Ø Required to wear Fahs issued hard hat, safety vest and safety glasses when working on construction site

Ø Reliable transportation

Hours: This is a full-time position with varying hours

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
