Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Truck Driver specializing in dump truck operations! This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers, to transport and deliver materials efficiently and safely. You will play a vital part in supporting construction, waste management, and material hauling projects, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A licensed dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as dump trailers, ensuring secure and proper handling of materials.
• Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments.
• Assist with loading or unloading materials at job sites or facilities as required, supporting project timelines.

Skills

• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as dump trucks.
• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred.
• Familiarity with hauling equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices combined with excellent driving skills for safe transportation across diverse terrains.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving, including load securement and vehicle inspections.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
