This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

The Numbers:

• Truck lease: $529/week (2-year term)
• Trailer rent: $300/week
• Cargo insurance: $250/week
• ELD: $60/week
• Fuel discount: 25¢ per gallon savings

Down Payment: A $5,000 down payment is required to lease the truck. Don't have it upfront? No problem — it can be deducted from your weekly checks over 20 weeks at $250/week. For the first 10 weeks, this runs alongside your escrow deduction ($250/week), meaning a combined $500/week deduction for the first 10 weeks. After escrow is paid off, the remaining 10 weeks drop to $250/week for the down payment only. You're on the road from day one — no large upfront cost required.

What you keep: Drivers running full weeks gross $9,000–$11,000/week. After deductions and fuel, strong performers take home $3,000–$4,000/week.

What you own from day one: This is a true ownership program. You carry all operational costs — maintenance, IFTA, 2290, registration, and repairs. In return, you build equity every single week and drive away with a paid-off truck.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer across OTR dry van routes, delivering freight efficiently and on time
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Manage hours-of-service regulations and maintain accurate ELD logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate pickups and deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years OTR experience
• Clean MVR and PSP
• Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and DOT compliance
• Excellent communication skills
