Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers across long-distance routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of manual transmission trucks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and freight details in accordance with federal regulations
• Follow designated routes for efficient delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered on the road

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Clean driving record preferred
• Ability to stay on the road for OTR routes
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams during pickups and deliveries
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes or schedules while maintaining professionalism on the road
