CDL B Driver

Description:

Downes Forest Products has grown and is hiring again! This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing family owned company. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a drive to succeed. This position requires not only a good driver but the right person who is willing to get out of the truck and run the installation. You will be working in a team of 2-3 people. Landscape and/or Construction experience is a plus! We will provide extensive paid training to the right candidate.

Requirements:

Non-negotiable Requirements:

• Clean driving record with a minimum of a class B CDL.
• Comfortable driving in and out of city's (NYC, Washington DC)
• Possible Travel during the week
• Lift at least 75lbs
• Ability to perform manual labor (i.e pulling mulch hose, installing mulch via hose, backpack blowing, etc.)
• Approximately 20% driving and 80% labor
• Must work occasional Saturdays
• Start time is 6:00 am, with the possibility of earlier start times based on job location.
• Team player - each crew is 2 to 3 employees
