CDL B Driver

We're hiring a CDL B Driver for our Fort Wayne, IN branch!

A Typical Day for an Interior Supply Inc. CDL Driver:

• Delivering materials within 100 miles of our branch to various locations and construction sites using commercial vehicles (over 26,000 GVWR).
• Handling loading and unloading of materials, whether by hand, cart, forklift, or crane.
• Conducting a Pre-Trip inspection of the truck, verifying load accuracy, and ensuring proper load securing.
• Planning the most efficient delivery route and assessing job sites with team members for potential hazards.
• Manually unloading materials, using carts, forklifts, or NCCCO Boom Crane.
• Collecting delivery paperwork signatures from customers and relaying information to the dispatcher.
• Returning to the branch, reloading for the next delivery (either on the same day or the next morning).
• Assisting with customer loading in the yard and performing general warehouse/yard maintenance when required.

Qualifications we seek:

• A CDL License, preferably Class B, that can be insured by our company.
• Must have Moffett Forklift experience
• Knowledge of load capacity, CDL truck safety guidelines, and basic truck maintenance.
• Possession of a current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with building materials is desirable, although not mandatory.
