Duties

• Safely operate CDL-B licensed dump trucks and distributor trucks.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or truck-mounted mechanisms, ensuring secure and balanced cargo.
• Drive route-specific deliveries across various locations, adhering to scheduled timelines and traffic regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, cargo details, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transit.
• Assist with the setup or breakdown of loads on job sites when required, supporting project timelines and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-B license with a clean driving record.
• Proven truck driving experience in freight delivery, route driving, or construction material transport.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using Skid steer or front end loader.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and material handling regulations.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and site personnel.
