With the company continuing to grow as lightning speed, we are in need of another Full-Time superstar CDL B Delivery Driver to join our delivery crew that is stationed out of Augusta, ME - delivering to the Greater Augusta / Waterville, ME area!

Essential Position Functions:
Our customers love our delivery drivers, it's true - more than 75% of our customer reviews are about how awesome our delivey crew is, how often do you see something like that for a delivery company? Our success has been cemented by the commitment of our delivery crew to provide a one-of-a-kind service, this commitment has become the standard that we expect from new Delivery Driver crew members.
Other key responsibilities include safely, efficiently, and courteously delivering heating oil to our AWESOME customers. The responsibilities of this position will be carried out with particular attention to representing our brand values, maintaining customer property, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and exciting working environment.
Essential Functions:
Performs a safety check of the delivery vehicle on a daily basis reporting any items needing repair.
Safely and productively reviews daily manifest, loads truck, and makes deliveries according to federal and state regulations and company policy.
Follows all established delivery standards with emphasis on customer service, efficiency, and productivity.
Attends and takes an active role in delivery crew and safety meetings.
Effectively communicating with the dedicated routing and dispatch team, as well as fellow delivery crew members. Proactively reports any customer concerns encountered or other problems encountered.
Maintains a neat personal appearance that properly represents the brand as-a-whole.
Learns how to effectively operate and use the Windows OS Tablets that the company uses for the delivery software, delivery manifests, GPS software, customer accounts, communication tools, and various other tools that our company uses to make deliveries and meet our customer commitments each day.
Promotes good customer relations by professionally interacting with all customers and by respecting customer property.
In accordance with Heatable policies, maintains a clean and organized truck stocked with appropriate tools and safety equipment. Takes responsibility for adhering to truck safety standards.
Occasionally provides assistance to customers that have run out of Heating Oil by bleeding and restarting customer furnances.
Embraces growth opportunities that involve cross-training with other departments or with our management team, to promote personal growth opportunity within the compoany.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
An active CDL Class B License is required, along with an active Medical Card or ability to acquire Medical Card - paid for by the company (of course)!
A Hazmat endorsement is needed for the position, but can be acquired after the hiring process and is not a requirement to be hired for the position.
Experience:
Delivery drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
Previous experience as a CDL B driver will be positively considered when determining the competitive pay rate we offer to candidates - previous experience as a CDL B Delivery Driver for a Fuel or Heating company is a plus!
Certification and Testing:
Equipment Used:
Delivery vehicle and hose/nozzle, loading rack, priming equipment, wrenches, safety equipment (glasses, gloves, hard hat, shovel, speedy dry), and chock blocks.
Decisions Made:
The driver makes decisions regarding route planning and whether to make a delivery based on safety issues and weather concerns. Other decisions are made with input from appropriate office or dispatch personnel. Drivers are also expected to decide on the appropriate administrative, service or delivery personnel to direct customer concerns encountered in the field.
Safety Considerations:
Supports our goal to build a safety-first culture by avoiding injuries due to failure to follow job safety analysis, and has no preventable auto or general liability claims.
Work Environment:
About 50% of the time is spent working outside making deliveries in all weather conditions. Temperatures can vary from below zero to above 90 degrees, depending on the time of year. Since the job involves the delivery of liquid petroleum products there is exposure to fumes from these products. There is exposure to moderate truck and pump noise and vibration while driving.
Our company provides Uniforms for all seasons, and will reimburse any uniform-related expenses - in addition to providing an annual $200 Boot allowance.

Drivers must be able to pull a delivery hose (a weight of up to 75 lbs. - up to 150 feet an average of 30 times daily). Occasionally the employee is asked to help move heavier objects weighing in excess of 75 lbs.
