Foro Energy is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to work Monday through Saturday. A Tanker and Hazmat Endorsement is required for this application. The ideal candidate will have experience driving trucks, trailers and or flatbeds. This position is responsible for driving the Foro laser cutting trucks to and from a jobsite, mobilizing with the crews to move the heavy equipment trailers to and from a jobsite, making deliveries, loading and unloading product, cleaning trucks, operating a forklift, and crane operations
Responsibilities
- Deliver or pick up freight
- Maintain current logs of delivered and loaded freight
- Complete daily pre-trip inspection reports
- Will train to operate light weight crane for oil and gas well site operations
- Report any maintenance problems with the equipment to the supervisor
- Operate a forklift (if required)
- Primary driver for the Foro laser cutting trucks to and from a jobsite
- Primary driver for the truck and trailer that moves the heavy equipment to and from a jobsite, will work as part of the excavation, restore, or cutting crews.
- Check on trucks daily to ensure they are in good working order
- Maintain a clean and safe driving environment
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Handle security issues when driving into buildings
- Maintain good trucking skills: know your route, hear traffic (every 15 minutes) , pull into traffic as soon as possible
- When loading/unloading customers’ orders, pay attention to details (e.g. of packaging, labels etc.)and ensure quality standards are met
- Demonstrate good work ethic and positive attitude
- Work as a team player
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Certificate of High School Diploma or GED may be accepted in lieu of a high school diploma. Previous experience driving is required. Certificate of Commercial Driver's License (CCDL) required. C-TPAT required. Must have at least 2 year of driving experience in general delivery trucks or at least 2 years of experience driving commercial trucks. CDL license is required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to read a map/route/order list and follow instructions.'
