CDL CLASS A DRIVER

Pack Edge Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Class A Truck Driver to join our growing team! If you have at least two years of Class A driving experience (able to drive standard and automatic) and are passionate about providing excellent service, we want to hear from you!

Location: 955 Portland Rd., Saco ME

Schedule & Pay:

• Status: Full-time, non-exempt
• Daytime Routes: Monday - Friday, 1st shift. New England area.
• Home Evenings and Weekends!
• Overtime Opportunities available, especially during peak season.
• Bi-weekly Pay: Hourly rate based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately deliver and pick up products to and from customers.
• Comply with all State and Federal required DOT driver laws and regulations.
• Load and unload trucks, verifying product ID and quantity.
• Complete Daily Inspection Reports.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and safe manner.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Safety knowledge pertaining to truck driving and delivering products timely.
• Must follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of clean Class A driving experience.
• Proficient in Math and English (reading and writing)
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
• Dependable and committed to safety.
• Attention to details; accurate deliveries.
• Able to pass the Medical Card Exam required by DOT.
• Must pass a background check and meet DOT Class A driver requirements.
• Must meet physical demands: entering and departing from truck cab on a regular basis in a safe manner. Duties may involve some lifting up to 40 pounds, pulling, reaching, bending, stepping up/down, sitting, and twisting.
• Able to assist with unload/loading of truck may be required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of driving tractor-trailers (Required).

License/Certification: Clean and Current Class A Driver's License (Required).

Physical surroundings are in a tractor trailer or warehouse environment. This position is subject to heat and cold, hard slippery floors, dirt and dust, climbing stairs, and general warehouse noise levels.

Pay: $69,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
