CDL class A Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional CDL Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle operation and customer service.

LOAD ROUTE IS HUXFORD, AL to HILLSBORO, TX TWICE WEEKLY.

NO TARPS OR CHAINS. Strap and go loads

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers with Flat bed load.
• Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Communicate effectively with co-worker regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or delays.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
• Assist with the maintenance of vehicles as needed, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving flat bed PREFERRED.
• Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery and route driving.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers.
• Excellent navigation skills for route planning and execution.
