CDL Class A Driver

Job Overview

Western Concrete, a division of Western Paving Inc., is looking for an experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This position is ideal for a reliable driver with at least 2 years of CDL driving experience who is interested in steady work, good pay, and the opportunity to learn how to operate volumetric concrete trucks.

Volumetric truck experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a good driving record, and the ability to learn equipment operation in the field.

Pay

$20–$30 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles to and from job sites
• Transport materials and equipment as needed
• Learn to operate volumetric concrete trucks
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and job site crews
• Keep trucks clean, maintained, and ready for daily work
• Assist with job site needs when required

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
• Clean and safe driving habits
• Ability to work around active construction job sites
• Strong communication and reliability
• Willingness to learn volumetric truck operation
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL endorsements are not required, but are helpful
• Experience driving concrete trucks, dump trucks, mixers, or other heavy equipment
• Construction or materials delivery experience
• Mechanical aptitude or comfort working around trucks and equipment

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
