CDL Class A Driver OTR

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Duties

• Plan and follow efficient routes for deliveries while maintaining timely schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that arise during transport.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling freight.

Skills

• Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of local roadways.
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
• Ability to operate a variety of trucks including those with dry van trailers.
• Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and paperwork.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.50 - $0.70 per mile
