CDL Class A Dump Truck Driver

• Valid CDL Class A , DOT Card and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving dump with equipment trailer is desired.
• The ability to use a GPS, read a map and knowledge of Baltimore’s roadways are highly desirable.
• Ability to use iPad and previous experience on HCSS Heavy Job program to document daily activity, upload tickets, track time and attendance is preferred.
• Possess excellent customer service, effective communication and professionalism with all customer interactions.
• Able to work in a safety focused environment, follow OSHA guidelines and keep work area clean and free of hazards.
• Understands how to work safely in and around open trenches and in close proximity to electrical hazards and other live utilities.
• Must possess a positive attitude, willing to work in a team environment and assist the underground crew with excavations and clean up when not driving.
• Ability to work independently and work outside in all types of weather conditions.
• This is a full-time day position with some weekend and night work required. Daily working hours are weather dependent.
• Reliable attendance is required. Must have own transportation to and from work.
• Complete Pre-Post Trip truck inspections, immediately report issues to the on-site mechanic and the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform minor repairs to equipment in the field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Required to complete pre-employment screening/driving test, criminal background check (required on some contracts), clear MVR history and DOT drug screen. CDL drivers must have a current, valid DOT Medical Card.
