CDL Class A Semi Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled local truck driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

29$-35$ Based on experience and driving record.

Duties

• Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Drive routes efficiently while ensuring timely delivery of freight.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods as required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
• Follow all company policies regarding safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roadways.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the road.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
