CDL Class A Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are looking for drivers with experience CDL Class A for $23.50 - 26 hrs based on experience.We would like you to have experience delivering to cargo areas in EWR and JFK.5-6 days per week.Home every day, local deliveries.

DRIVER Duties

• Must read, write and understand English as instructions for responsibilities will be given in english.
• Be on time and ready to work; no slip footwear; weather and work appropriate clothing.
• Operating large vehicles: CDL drivers operate commercial vehicles like trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Route planning and navigation: Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering factors such as traffic patterns and road conditions.
• Cargo handling and securement: Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring it is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintaining logs and documentation: Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details.
• Customer interaction: Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and provide updates on delivery status.
• Compliance with regulations: Stay informed about and comply with federal, state, and local regulations governing commercial driving, including safety standards and environmental regulations.

DRIVER Experience

• Previous experience 1 to 5yrs of TRANSPORTING freight in tractor trailer truck
• Familiarity with cargo and warehouse equiptment.
• Experience operating heavy equipment forklifts and pallet jacks.
