CDL Class A Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Candidates should possess experience with various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, tanker -trailers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, tankers.
• Load and unload freight using manual methods as required.
• Ensure the safe transportation of goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven, including tanker endorsement. must have 2yrs cdl experience.
• Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
• Experience operating different types of trucks such as tractor-trailer, tankers are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
