Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo safety and security.
• Drive various types of trailers, including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and freight carriers.
• Manage route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records throughout each shift.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues proactively.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route planning and delivery schedules.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with handling different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or other lifting equipment while maintaining safety standards.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
