CDL Class A Truck Driver (Roll-Off Dumpster Operations)

Self On-Site Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our growing waste management team. This position is responsible for operating a truck and gooseneck trailer to deliver, transport, and remove roll-off dumpsters from construction sites, commercial properties, and customer locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner
• Deliver, remove, and transport roll-off dumpsters to and from customer job sites
• Haul waste materials to approved disposal facilities and landfills
• Perform daily inspections of truck, trailer, and equipment
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and required documentation
• Communicate with management regarding schedules and job status
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws
• Provide professional customer service at job sites

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Current DOT Medical Card required
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Experience hauling trailers, roll-off containers, or construction equipment preferred
• Ability to safely back trailers and maneuver in tight construction site conditions
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Physical Requirements

• Ability to enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the day
• Ability to secure loads and perform light physical labor as needed
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Schedule

• Typically 2–3 days per week
• Approximately 3–5 hours per day
• Flexible schedule based on business needs
• Additional hours may be available as operations expand

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $24–$30/hour
• Local routes (Garland to McKinney and surrounding areas)
• Home daily
